Terms of service

About these terms
Adaptive Learning is operated by Mayank Gautam. These terms cover the website and connected learning app, including course study, the AI tutor, questions, voice features and saved revisions. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Information handling is explained separately in our privacy policy; agreeing to these terms is not a substitute for any specific privacy consent that is required.
Accounts and access
Sign in through the supported Google account flow. Keep your account secure, do not impersonate others, and contact us if you believe it has been misused. Sign out on a shared device. Course access may depend on enrolment, account status and permissions. An administrative role is not granted to ordinary student accounts.
Your account stores learning progress, attempts, tutor interactions and saved revision items. Removing a revision bookmark does not delete its source attempt or conversation. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not close your account or erase your server-side learning history. Contact us about account closure or data requests; the current app has no self-service account-deletion screen.
Learning and AI assistance
The service offers structured lessons, reading and tutor modes, diagrams and formulas, checkpoint activities, practice questions, explanations and revision tools. Availability can differ by course. AI-generated answers, feedback, transcripts and spoken explanations may be incomplete or incorrect, including when interpreting a photograph or formula. Review your transcript and answer before submitting when the interface allows it, and check important learning material against authoritative sources or a qualified teacher.
AI evaluation is not an official exam grade. We do not guarantee a score, qualification, admission, learning outcome or uninterrupted access. Synthetic tutor narration is not a live human teacher. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the service is independent of textbook publishers, examination boards and exam authorities; describing material as inspired by a curriculum does not imply their endorsement.
Your submissions and voice features
Only submit material you are entitled to share. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information or another person's private information. You retain your rights in your own submissions. Sending a doubt, answer, photograph or recording allows us and the relevant service providers to process and store it to deliver the features and for the purposes described in the privacy policy; it does not transfer ownership of your work to us.
Using voice input uploads a recording for transcription and storage. The resulting text may be used in an AI request. Photos can be uploaded before an answer is submitted. Generated tutor speech sends text to the selected speech provider. Do not record other people without appropriate permission. You may choose typed input instead and revoke microphone permission in browser or device settings. Stopping a recording does not automatically delete an upload that has already reached the service.
Usage limits and availability
Account-level and application-wide usage limits protect service availability and control AI costs. New AI answers, evaluations, transcriptions or generated voice may be delayed, refused or paused when a limit is reached. Reading, existing narration and revision features may remain available. Operators may adjust limits; an allowance is not a promise that every request will succeed or that a particular model will always be offered.
Features may be interrupted by maintenance, network problems or provider failures. Work displayed while it is still being generated may not yet be saved. Use the saved/completed status before relying on an item being available later. Keep your own copy of work you need outside the service.
Acceptable use
- Do not bypass authentication, enrolment, ownership checks, usage limits or administrative restrictions.
- Do not automate abusive requests, exhaust AI resources, disrupt the service or scrape at unreasonable volume.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing or privacy-invasive material, or use the service to harass others.
- Do not use accounts or generated answers to impersonate someone, commit fraud or break exam rules.
We may restrict, suspend or deactivate access to address misuse, security risks or valid legal requirements. Temporary throttling is not necessarily an account ban. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.
Course materials and third-party services
Rights in course text, diagrams, questions, recordings, software and branding remain with their respective owners. Use the materials for your permitted learning purposes; do not redistribute, sell or republish them without the necessary rights or permission. Saving an item for revision does not grant ownership or a separate right to redistribute it.
Google sign-in and our hosting, AI, transcription and speech providers are separate services. Their availability and applicable terms can affect a feature. The privacy policy explains the current providers and the information shared for processing. Selecting a tutor voice does not authorize cloning another person's voice.
Children and guardian involvement
Our materials are for learners of different ages. If you cannot legally agree to these terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must be involved. The current app does not verify age or provide a verifiable parental-consent flow. Where such consent is required, appropriate arrangements must be established before a child creates an account or submits personal information. Contact us before such use; these terms do not establish that consent or make unrestricted child accounts ready for public use.
Changes and your rights
We may improve, change or discontinue features and will show the date of updated terms here. Material changes require appropriate notice and any acceptance required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes consumer or other rights that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us to raise a service concern or dispute; these terms do not require you to give up rights you have under applicable law.
